Whats eating my lavender plant?

I have a lavender plant that has been almost eaten by green caterpillars. What can I use that is safe for all except the caterpillars?

Please help!!!

Whats eating my lavender plant?
you could use Dipel, also called BT. It contains a bacteria called Bacillus thuringiensis which is only harmful to caterpillars. It makes them sick and they die. Dipel is readily available in the stores.

you could use home made garlic spray or chilli spray but it will kill the bees visiting your lavender.
Reply:B.T. Find it in a local garden centre, works on all sorts of caterpillars and is not poison.
Reply:the most efficent way is to hand pick the caterpillars but use gloves some caterpillars can cause rashes.
Reply:Best to pick caterpillars.
Reply:a nice home remedy for all critters is garlic, jalepeno spray.

Warm water in gallon jugs with 2 cloves garlic pressed and jalepeno chopped. let sit, it will turn slightly green. SPray once every couple days, especially after watering. Works for almost everything and environmentally safe!!
