Reply:Enchanted Lavender is located in the high desert area of Albuquerque, New Mexico. We are growing a number of different cultivars, which provide a beautiful harvest of lavender in the high altitude desert climate. We have been planting here for over ten years. Each year we add new varieties of lavender plants, so that we can experience the growth and flower production in our climate. Our temperature range is very similar to the higher altitudes of the Province region of France, where many of these varieties developed in nature and have been cultivated over the years by the local farmers. Our climate is drier, but both locations enjoy ample sunshine.

We are dedicated to producing small volumes of handmade products using this very versatile herb called lavender. We are proud of the fact that our lavender is hand cut and bundled with care. This gives us the privilege of providing our customers with quality products, which are as fresh as nature allows. We are a small farm, so we try very hard to plant cultivars, which we feel are exceptionally nice in color, form and fragrance. Our plants are required to earn their keep. We enjoy our plants and are pleased to be so "hands on" with our products.

Lavender has a long history in this area, since the early Spanish settlers brought the herb Alhucema along with them. Some of the local residents remember when their Grandmother would give them Alhucema tea for an herbal treatment.

Lavender appeals to many of our senses with beautiful flowers and wonderful fragrance.. It is amazing that this beautiful herb is so hard working in many different ways. Take a minute to stop and smell the lavender. Life is good....
