Are Lavender, Marigolds, Iris and four o' clocks poisenous to dogs?

Some websites list Marigolds as poisenous and then other list garden garden Marigold as safe. I couldn't find anything about lavender. Iris they say poisenous. No info on Four o clocks.

Are Lavender, Marigolds, Iris and four o' clocks poisenous to dogs?
Any flower that grows from a bulb or tuber is toxic to dogs!

Garden variety Mary golds I have found that my dogs love to eat them so I dont plant them any more! Four O'clocks depending on the type you get are toxic to dogs. Some are from tubers some are not! In the places where I do have some toxic plants growing I have put in those decorative fencing like 3 feet tall to keep the dogs out! It works!

I hope this helps you some!

Reply:Check the ASPCA website. They have a huge list of poisonous plants.
Reply:Yes, they are. Im pretty sure atleast. Either way, i wouldnt feed your dog anything but dog food, things from a professional dog bakery, and the occasinal bread, cheese, peanut butter, and chicken
Reply:I think that Lavender is fairly safe. I use essential oil of lavender as part of a flea prevention treatment. I think that it's the only EO that can be used neat. Its excellent for burns and other skin conditions.
