Does anybody know if its worth it to visit lavender fields during April? I was wondering how they would look during this times because I know it is best to visit in the summer and wondering if they will just be baron in the spring.

Well, the amazingly heady scent (not to mention the color) of an entire field of lavender will only be available when it's in bloom.
In April - they will only be just beginning to put out their new growth. They'll look like fields of low shrubs. I
